Connor's First Wrestling Tourney

Connor signed up for a K-2 wrestling program this year. This is his first sport aside from Wiffle Ball at YMCA. As part of the Tyngsboro Tigers, his shirt has a Tiger claw on the back and a little paw on the shorts! So cute! On December 23rd, Connor wrestled 3 times at the Big Red Tournament. Connor weighed in at 46 lbs and was big enough to wrestle 2nd graders! He was pinned each time but enjoyed his first real wrestling experience. In the last match he was pinned on his back for a second. We yelled, "Flip over" and "Get on your belly buddy" and he did! I was so proud of him. At the end he received a medal which he wore until bedtime.

Josie's Laser Surgery

On December 10th, John and I took Josie to Children's Hospital for her first laser treatment. She was such a brave girl and had so much fun playing with the toys in the waiting room. They put a numbing cream on her cheek for an hour and Dr. Liang gave her 24 zaps at 8 joules. They said it felt like a rubber band snapping on her cheek. Her cheek was purple a few days later, but the hemangioma is lighter and broken up now. I am very excited about the results. Her next treatment is in March.

Polar Express

We went on the Polar Express in Laconia, NH on November 30th. Ninny, Tanya, Max, Jaiden, and Auntie went with us too! they served us hot chocolate and nougat candy just like the movie and we saw Santa at the end.

Snow Day

Yippee! It's a snow day! Connor, Josie and I played in the snow for a while today. We went sledding, built snow castles and a snowman, and shoveled the driveway (after Daddy snowblowed of course).

Josie's Baptism

Josie was baptised on November 25, 2007 with Aunt Jenny as her godmother and "Uncle" Stevie as her godfather. She was feisty during the mass so Father Labrie let her walk around. She was really good during her actual baptism though. We had a little party afterward with family and friends while she napped.
