Josie's Laser Surgery

On December 10th, John and I took Josie to Children's Hospital for her first laser treatment. She was such a brave girl and had so much fun playing with the toys in the waiting room. They put a numbing cream on her cheek for an hour and Dr. Liang gave her 24 zaps at 8 joules. They said it felt like a rubber band snapping on her cheek. Her cheek was purple a few days later, but the hemangioma is lighter and broken up now. I am very excited about the results. Her next treatment is in March.
